HDR Workflows / Missing Metadata After Export
I have a client which supplied a graded HDR master. I brought this into Phoenix for a restoration. Once that is complete I export out a cleaned HDR master.
When comparing the master and the new cleaned version I notice there is some missing HDR metadata. Pic 1 is the Master Pic 2 is the Phoenix version. I highlighted Pic 1 so you can see what's missing.
Am I missing something? Anyway to fix this or are we good to go to the disc compressionist/author? This is four UHD Disc release

Hi Eric,
We do not transfer the HDR metadata at the moment for HDR inside the Prores 444, you would need to analyze the file again and add the metadata back using a different software.

We're talking with Apple to get the latest SDK and see what we can do related to metadata passthrough.
