Dual monitor layout question

For my workflow, I find the available dual-monitor setups that Phoenix provides not really useful. They actually slow my workflow down because the travel distance of the mouse suddenly becomes infinitely longer to draw it from one screen to the other.

Is there a way to circumvent these fixed layouts through config files or so, perhaps?

I'd really like to have a normal single-screen layout, but then on the second screen, I would love to have a window with the red-lined comparison display. Nothing in the main screen should change. I should still be able to toggle between input and output screens with a keystroke on that screen, but in addition, having the screen with the red changes separately from that on a separate screen would be super useful.

Is it at all possible to do that?

Hi  , I have to check with the Devs, but I don't think config files will allow you to change the UI. The closest setup you can get to the setup you want would be this option:

This would allow you to view the video on the left (or right) side and use your comparison modes and other features on the other screen.
