"elaboration order" with many FX & CC layers

Hi all,

in case you have:

  • 3 new FX layers (I mean the default FX layer + 3 new ones), and
  • 4 new CC layers (I mean the default CC layer + 4 new ones)

that is (on left bottom side):

  1. InputFX
  2. Base (CC Layer)
  3. 1: CC Layer
  4. 2: CC Layer
  5. 3: CC Layer
  6. 4: CC Layer
  7. 5: DVO Dust+Fix
  8. 6: DVO Dust+Fix
  9. 7: DVO Dust+Fix
  10. Master

the Phoenix elaboration order is from top to bottom?

So if we play output we see the elaboration of 10 upper points?

Thanks!

Yes. Layers are evaluated from top to bottom.

  • We always process the stack from top to bottom. We also consider it a good practice to let your InputFX layer process first before starting any other work to improve the general response of the system, especially if you have a lot of heavy effects happening.
