Dropped Frames during playback?

Currently recieving some dropped frames during playback. With sudden stop in playback

Any suggestions on what could be causing this?

i9-10940X CPU

RTX 3080

64MB RAM

  • Hi Jason, 

    Did anything change within the system? Some of the most common causes are scopes playing back with footage or LUTs. What's the codec and resolution? Is the cache set up to the correct hard drive?

      Gustavo Mendes Hi Gustavo, Codec is prores_422HQ @  10bit, no scopes or LUT playing back with material. trying cache on different drives. I almost think the Video card is not seated proper, or bad. If you have any other suggestions let me no.

    Once in a while I get a SDI Video I/O card setup failed
