Can Filmworkz License Manager (FLM) work via http(s) proxy?

We will plan to change network environment.

We can access internet only via http(s) proxy.

Can Filmworkz License Manager (FLM) work via http(s) proxy?

And could you tell me domains to add the whitelist of proxy?

Best regards,
Kiyoaki

  • Hi Kiyoaki,

There is something strange going on your machine, licneses from our on-line license server can not be deployed, licenses from our on-premise license server, tied to the MAC address of your machine, are not being recognised.

Can we arrange a remote session on the system so I can understand what is going wrong? This will be the quickest way to find a solution to the issue.

    Thanks

    Ian

  • Ian-san,

    Thank you for your reply.

Please let us know some convenient dates and times for us to have a remote session.

We wish from 10:00 to 19:00 JST.

    Could you use Splashtop(client)?

If you can't, we will prepare the Teamviewer.

Thank you for your continued support.

    regards,
    Kiyoaki

  • Hi Kiyoaki-san,

I have installed and configured Splashtop on my machine, using my Filmworkz email address. Can we aim for 18:00? I will connect to the machine and configure the licensing.

    Thanks

    Thank you for your reply.
We will ready for 18:30 JST(UTC+0900) today.
    Are you okay?

I will send you our splashtop account.
    Can we communicate with text?
Because I am poor oral English communication.

Thank you for your continued support.

  • Ian-san,

    Long time no see.

    We bought Phoenix Ultimate.

We have tried to activate the license, but it hasn't succeeded.
    The host machine is Windows.

At the "Deploy License", the FLM show "Unable to write the license fille".

We have placed "phoenix_ultimate.lic" to  "C:\Filmworkz\License".
But the result is same, it shows "License Failure No valid license found for any system IDs......" when application launched.

It seems to be the same as the Mac host machine that was previously supported.

Could you tell me the workaround?

    regards,
    Kiyoaki

  • Hi Kiyoaki-san,

I suspect I know what the problem is, let’s see.

Could you browse to C:\Programdata\Reprise\digitalvis and rename the Phoenix directory to phoenix_ultimate, then try launching the application?

Let me know how you get on.

    Thanks

    Ian
