Lens hair removal

Gustavo, I remember about 2 years ago you mentioned that you are exploring a “hair in gate” removal tool. Is that something that is still on the table. Is there any timeline for this?

My current project could really benefit from this tool because I have countless shots with lens hair.

Thanks for the link. Interesting. I have a different approach, usually, than the one outlined by the person on that thread. I typically use DVO Pan&Scan. I will mark the area in question with a polygon shape, and then I'll adjust the TiltPan and/or Rotate parameters to cover up the hair.

This works really well in some instances—not at all in others, and is also extremely labor intensive because it may have to be keyframed for each frame, and it frequently requires some additional touching up using DVO Fix with manual Clone settings for each frame.

Hi  , Hair in Gate is still on the roadmap, but the Dev team is currently working on a new tool. I don't have any dates to share about the Hair in Gate release in the meantime.
