No response In Resolve 18

Hello,
I have been using it for six months in Resolve version 17, and the results have been excellent.

When I upgraded to version 18.1.4, I noticed that there was no effect displayed after apply the plugin, and adjusting any parameters did not have any effect either.
Even after rendering, there was no effect.

When I reverted back to version 17, the effects were able to appear.

Please help me solve this problem.
I am using Windows 10 Pro with Resolve Studio

Thank you

  • Hi Eddie,

We are aware of this one, essentially BlackMagic made a change to Alpha Channel handling in Resolve 18 which stops the DVO effects being applied. We have a workaround for now and will be releasing a new DVO installler which includes the fix soon.

In the mean time, please unzip the attached to the revelant path, overwriting the existing file.

    Windows - C:\ProgramData\Digital Vision\Ofx

    Mac - /Library/Application Support/Digital Vision/Ofx

    Linux - /opt/digitalvision/ofx

Once in place, give it another try and let us know how you get on.

    Thanks

    Ian

    • xavier pérez We are currently only supporting Intel-based Macs. We're investigating the M-series processors, but don't have a release date at the moment.
