Hidden Markers Window

Hello,

We have an issue where we try to open the Markers window using Ctrl-M but we can't see the Markers window. The Markers window very much feels like it is open, in that I can no longer interact with rest of the Nucoda interface, but I cannot see it. If I hit the Escape key on my keyboard, I can interact with Nucoda again. It feels like the Markers window is either loading off screen or is hidden somewhere else.

We have tried:

  • Creating a new Nucoda user profile
  • Changing monitor resolution
  • Switching between dual screen and single screen
  • Deleting /Nucoda/root folder and reinstalling Nucoda

Have you seen this before? Do you have any recommendations?

Thanks.

  • Hello  Franklin ,

Sometimes the import and marker window opens behind the main interface, if you try to ALT+TAB can you select it?

Thanks Gustavo! Alt+Tab didn't work as I don't believe the marker window opens up as a separate window to the operating system. IDK if there is some undocumented shortcut in Nucoda to center the active window. That's helped me before in other programs.

    • Franklin ALT+TAB will make the Nucoda interface centralized;  some windows will stay hidden behind the actual software, so changing between any software in the BG and Nucoda will help.

Gustavo Mendes Thanks! Alt+Tab didn't fix the issue for me. I see the usual Windows interface for selecting open application windows, but there are only two windows it shows for Nucoda, one is the actual Nucoda interface and the other is the command prompt. Alt+Tab only shows windows that are registered as distinct windows in the operating system, but it appears the markers window does not do that. It must just be a layer in the Nucoda UI. If you have any other suggestions, I'd love to try them!

    in C:\Users\---your user----\AppData\Roaming\nucoda.com there is a file: nucoda2024_1.prefs

Delete this and all window layouts will return to default

    Thanks
