frame rate mistake

I screwed up and created a project at 24fps, when the source ProRes footage was actually 25fps. I've just finished all my work and discovered this mistake.

I can easily change the project frame rate to 25fps, but the composition in the project with all my work is stuck at 24fps. Is there a way to change this?

If I output a new ProRes of my restored footage now, it's set to 24fps. Have frames been dropped?

What are my options to fix this?

  • Hi Craig Rogers , we do not apply speed changes to clips, we always playback all frames. If you bring your 24p file to a 25 timeline, it will have all frames.  You can see that the duration of your exported file is different because we will either play back the file slower or faster, depending on the frame rate chosen.
