We use Adobe's minimum requirements for Windows and Mac with one specific difference: the amount of RAM. 8GB of RAM is the bare minimum when using 1 DVO and up to 1080p resolution.   

DVO tools calculate its results by analyzing multiple frames of the selected clip and caching it to RAM, so higher resolutions and combined effects use a larger amount of RAM than the minimum requirements.

The recommended RAM amount is 16GB, with 32GB highly recommended for UHD projects.
