Understanding "Composite Layer"

Hi all,

take a video clip, divide in three equal parts.

  1. first shot --> apply a Composite / Blend
  2. second shot --> apply a Composite / Over
  3. third shot --> apply a Composite / Channel Combine

What's the porpouse of these layers after Master layer?

Where I can find some simply examples to understand when they needs?

Thanks

    Ok, if you stack the three clips (each with Composite/blend) you can see the frame of each one simultaneously.
    Moving forward and backward each of the clips shows that all three are present in the final output.

  • Hi Mario Rossi , sorry for the late response, we're working on testing the next release. Related to Composite, you have noticed that video tracks are not automatically transparent, so you need to apply a composite to create picture-in-picture effects. Blend and Over will have the same effects as in Photoshop.

    Channel Combine and Extract offer different ways to grade and restore by removing or combining channels to help with damaged images or create specific looks

      Gustavo Mendes don’t worry about any delays in the replies, but take your time with the new release.
      When you can answer me the questions I ask, without apologizing :)
      Thank you very much for the feedback you provide.
